Wacam Donates Covid19 Prevention Items to Women in Mining communities.
Wacam with support from Oxfam Ghana distributed food items and personal protective equipment to approximately 800 women in earmarked and affected mining communities in 8 Municipal/District Assemblies to reduce the livelihood impact of covid 19 on households as well as prevent the spread of the disease. The women are located in Fanteakwa South District, Birim North, Nkoranza South District, Nkoranza North Districts, Asutsifi North, Prestea Huni Valley, Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality and Jomoro District.
To support District/Municipal Assemblies in preventing the spread of the covid 19 diseases, Wacam donated veronica buckets, liquid soaps and disposable tissues to 3 Assemblies i.e. the Asutsifi North, Prestea Huni Valley and Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assemblies
